Marston’s Awards Category ‘Best Cask Ale Pub of the Year’
Ryehill, United Kingdom – September 21, 2007– The Crooked Billet in Ryehill (Nr Hedon) today announced that they were down to the final six in the Marstons Pub Company Awards. Beating off competition from 2,500 other pubs in the UK, the Crooked Billet will find out whether they will be the owner of the title ‘Best Cask Ale Pub of the Year’ during an awards ceremony due to be held at Alton Towers on 11th October.
Owners Peter and Jackie Ling have a strong commitment to providing the finest real ales and in addition to this they have earned a reputation for developing some of the most original monthly food and entertainment schedules in the region. Peter told us: “I am delighted that we have been nominated for this award. We take our cask marque accreditation very seriously and always strive to ensure that our customers drink the perfect pint in the perfect surroundings.”
