The Crooked Billet in Ryehill wins CAMRA village pub of the year – their second award in just weeks.
Ryehill, United Kingdom – February 8th, 2008 – The Crooked Billet in Ryehill (Nr Hedon) today announced that they were the winner of the CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) village pub of the year 2007. The pub also scooped runner up in the Marston’s ‘Best Cask Ale Pub of the Year’ in October 2007, making this its second award in just four months.
Owners Peter and Jackie Ling have a strong commitment to providing great real ales and in addition to this they have earned a reputation for developing some of the most original monthly food and entertainment schedules in the region.
